Study in a foreign University (one year)
This type of program allows you to study in a foreign University while share the life of a host family or living in a sudent residence on a campus (aimed at students who are 18 years old or more).
The length goes from 3 months, one semester to one year.
The selection is based on school results and an individual interview. In order to enroll in the regular university classes the sudents must meet a minimum english level. TOEFL score must be provided as proof of your english level. The minimum TOEFL score required depends on each university. The TOEFL test must be taken prior departure.
Very important:
It's essential to register for the test before mid-February to be able to attend university in september of the same year.
If you do not have the required English level, you may attend a language course for foreign students untill you meet the requirements for enrolling to the regular a University classes. For Australia and New Zealand, the most usually requested language test is IELTS (Intern English Language Testing System); however the TOEFL test is also accepted.
Recommandations for this type of program are the same as those concerning the Academic year programs.
